Company Description
Powering over 120,000 displays in more than forty countries, BroadSign International, LLC is a top-ranked global provider of cloud-based digital signage software. Our cloud-based software platform is used by the world's largest and most prestigious digital signage and digital out-of-home meda owners to efficiently and reliably operate their networks. The industry standard in venues such as airports, shopping malls, health clinics and cinemas, BroadSign's automated, scalable and secure workflow includes the BroadSign Core CMS for content playback and proof of performance.
Over 25 year history, their products have been used in successive generations of embedded devices, always providing fail-safe reliability with the highest levels of performance. They continue to be baseline solutions to developers building aerospace and defense, avionics, medical, industrial, consumer, office automation, transportation, and security applications and devices.
N. A. Software Ltd (NAS) was founded in 1978 as a hi-tech spinoff from the University of Liverpool. The company has two main activity areas: Consultancy: We carry out software and algorithmic research, development and consultancy for a wide range of corporations, organisations and governments. Areas of particular expertise includes radar/sonar/dsp processing; image understanding and analysis; code porting services; real-time software development; parallelism; as well as general scientific and engineering computational techniques. Software Tools: We develop and market a range of innovative software tools; in particular, low level DSP libraries such as VSIPL and other vector libraries for advanced processors. We have many years experience in porting other manufacturers commercial DSP libraries to new platforms using our unique semi-automated library generator tool, Liberator. Many of the major board manufacturers have taken advantage of our expertise in this field to port their libraries from Power PC to Intel architecture.
Placemeter uses public video feeds and computer vision algorithms to create a real time data layer about places, streets, and neighborhoods. They use computer vision at a massive scale, on a large number of rich and ubiquitous video feeds, to understand what is going in in the physical world in real time. They measure how busy places are, what people do, how fast cars go, and much more. They offer that data to developers, citizens, cities, and retailers, radically changing the way they interact with the physical world.
Peloton's system uses radar and DSRC Vehicle-to-Vehicle communications to link active safety systems between pairs of trucks, reducing collision-related expenses and fuel costs. The drivers remain fully engaged and retain steering control, while the system controls acceleration and braking similar to adaptive cruise control. The dramatic reduction in aerodynamic drag in these platoons provides substantial improvements in fuel economy for both the trailing and leading trucks, with on-road testing showing savings of more than 10% for each truck. Video systems increase driver awareness and assist with lane-keeping and driver-alertness. Analytics provide insight on Preventive Maintenance, driver and truck effectiveness, and safety. On-board systems, GPS/telematics and fleet network operations tools optimize the routing and pairing of trucks, limit platooning to appropriate weather and road conditions, and enhance safety.
SURF Communication Solutions (SURF) is an industry leader in high-capacity processing solutions for real-time multimedia communication systems and applications. Since 1996, SURF’s products have delivered the integral technology behind many of the leading vendor’s multimedia servers and gateways deployed to operators and service providers worldwide. SURF-powered multimedia applications are delivering value added services to millions of end-users every day. Today, SURF is ideally positioned to stimulate change in the way we communicate. The video-ready SURF solution supports multimedia processing including full video, voice and data IP to IP communications, as well as modem and fax over IP. It is a fully converged multimedia processing subsystem that integrates easily into media gateways and servers. Since there is no such thing as “one size fits all,” the SURF solution is available in various form factors or DSP chips affording unmatched density and optimal performance.
Tego’s smart asset solution makes businesses smarter by bringing intelligence to physical assets that exist beyond the reach of the Internet. Their wireless Radio Frequency (RF) solution manages secure data and information directly on a physical asset, collecting and managing it for IoT applications and distribution to existing cloud-based and enterprise systems. Tego provides a fully integrated and configurable platform consisting of multi-functional TegoChips, ruggedized TegoTags and Tego OS software platform. Tego also licenses its extensive IP portfolio to System on a Chip (SOC) and sensor manufacturer partners.
China Mobile IoT Open Platform, developed by China Mobile IoT Co. Ltd., is a platform and an ecological environment based on the IoT technology and IoT industrial characteristics. This open platform is adaptive for a variety of network environments and protocol types, and can provide fast connection and big data service to various types of sensors and intelligent hardwares. It also provides substantial APIs and application templates to support various industrial and intelligent hardware developments. It can efficiently reduce the cost of IoT application development and deployment. It meets the increasing demands of the IoT industry in device connecting, protocol adapting, data storage, data security, big data analysis, and etc. China Mobile IoT Open Platform has always been with open and cooperative attitude, to provide hardware community service for intelligent hardware Makers and startup companies. It provides data display, data analysis and application generation services for small and medium companies, and provides industrial PaaS services and customized development services for industry and key account customers.
azeti Networks AG, a Berlin based Technology-Startup is engaged in the field of IoT and M2M for more than 5 years and has successfully deployed more than 1.000 installations of their M2M remote monitoring and management software in Telco, Healthcare, Industry etc. around the globe. Bringing the Intelligence to the edge by using the Fog based approach, 95% of the M2M data is already analyzed at the remote location.
IoT Solutions
After this experience from 100rds of real M2M B2B projects, azeti develops together with the Technical University Berlin and supported by the Investitionsbank Berlin at the moment a revolutionary next generation IoT/M2M marketplace software called "The Social Sensor Cloud". The concept: "Sensors to solutions" via a marketplace with open standard interfaces to simply supply and subscribe IoT data like sensor values and pay per use. Managed services partners can subscribe with one click to e.g. 15.000 fuel levels of mobile phone towers to plan and schedule their refilling tours extremely efficient, and e.g. saving millions of liters of gasoline for the trucks.
