Founded in 1985, Unidata is a leader in the telecommunications sector, with over 30 years of experience in Information and Communication Technology. Initially focused on hardware (PCs and Servers), became rapidly one of the first Italian Internet Service Provider and in 2004 it also became a Telco Company. Leveraging on the open-standard technology LoRa and LoRaWAN, the R&D department of Unidata has developed UniOrchestra, a connectivity platform, heart of all IoT solutions of the company and in 2016 Unidata became one of the first Italian IoT Service Provider.

Unidata provides IoT solutions based on the open standard technology LoRa / LoRaWAN, a Long Range coverage for Low Power sensors applied in Smart City, Smart Building, Smart Metering and many other smart applications. The two main focus of Unidata IoT solutions are the LoRaWAN connectivity platform UniOrchestra and the LoRaWAN ntework coverage.

Our LoRaWAN network already reaches millions of people in Rome and the Lazio region in Italy, and is ready to manage your Smart Cities, asset management, logistics, building automation, industrial, agricultural and consumer applications.

Our connectivity platform UniOrchestra allows you to manage your LoRaWAN network as well as billions of things, connecting them with your professional applications in an environment specially designed for developers, system integrators and large customers. It's a modular and scalable platform on cloud that can be eventually offered On-Premise. Moreover, this innovative platform has a unique feature that allows a federation of LoRaWAN networks, opening the network to a cooperation of LoRaWAN networks providers like Unidata.
