Distence provides Condence product family that combines both embedded analytics and cloud service. Our software portfolio can be described as a toolbox or library of different analytical options.
The Condence software is divided into two places which are the cloud and the embedded edge (edge computing & analytics on hardware). Data is analyzed on the local level and only the relevant part of it is sent to the cloud.
Edge computing analysis requires a set of rules to define measurement from the sensor and to understand the data by making data computations. To make this scalable, Distence provides device management from the could and analysis at the edge.
Managing and optimizing data connectivity is also a relevant benefit in this approach. In some cases, you might even need the RAW data from the vibration sensor. A user can ask for it when needed and post the analysis to an external system.
Cloud computing is used also for visualizing, post-processing and accessing measurements and metrics. Data can be stored in the cloud or sent to a third party cloud by enabling a “system of systems” solution architecture.

Hardware is modular and it can easily adjust to fit required general needs. Two most common differences of hardware types are whether it will need vibration analysis from IEPE channel or not.
Our technology can take up to 8 dimensions of acceleration simultaneously. If there is a need for more, you can combine several hardware units. On top of this, there is an option to connect V or mA sensors and digital buses to have a complete overview of asset performance and condition.
IoT Hardware Crypto Security
An ECC cryptographic chip installed on each Vitro device autonomously generates Authentication credentials the first time it is turned on. These credentials are used to secure the device and each packet of IoT data is transmitted as an IoT Block: data payload with a cryptographic hash, signature and Encryption.
IoT Blocks are decrypted by a Zero-Trust Oracle. Controlling IoT Block decryption through Zero- Trust access permits data to reach Multi-domain Operations through the integration IAM servers and policies. The Vitro Oracle serves the role of a single point of decryption access and preserves audit records of decryption by timestamps, by user and by application.
