Company Description | Instrumental is building software that enables assembly lines to autonomously operate, learn, and adapt parts and processes - saving billions of dollars in scrap and rework costs. Their customers use Instrumental to find and fix issues on their assembly lines, preventing development schedule slips and beginning production at higher yields. Their equipment and data service is deployed on multiple global assembly lines at top-tier manufacturers. Instrumental was founded by Anna-Katrina Shedletsky and Samuel Weiss, two former Apple engineers who, after spending hundreds of days in China on manufacturing lines, set out to revolutionize the manufacturing space. They are assembling a diverse team who sees inefficiencies as opportunities and want to develop a system that changes the manufacturing world for the better. | Advanticsys creates monitoring and control products and solutions that improve processes and services in areas such as energy, agriculture and environment in a global marketplace.

IoT Solutions | Streamline Development and Production
Our solution combines easy-to-deploy inspection stations with intelligent software that helps engineering and operations teams discover, fix, and monitor issues on the assembly line.
Typically deployed at EVT, Instrumental Dev is used by engineering teams to accelerate issue discovery, failure analysis, and corrective actions during the hardware development process.
Production is supposed to be "fixed" and "stable", but it's inherently not. Operators turn over, upstream vendors have quality shifts, whether we like it or not, production is a constant battle against quality regression. Instrumental MP is used by operations and manufacturing teams to save rework costs, prevent quality escapes, and accelerate responses to line down or field failure analysis. | A huge part of the emerging Internet of Things (IoT) applications can significantly benefit from context awareness, in particular location awareness. This information might pertain to the location of the user, to the location of devices/appliances or both of them and hence enable a lot of powerful applications, for example, in hospitals to track equipment, doctors, and patients or in industrial environments to track and trace persons and assets. However, IoT research rather focuses on architectures, which includes components for context awareness, but pays less attention to how and with which accuracy context is achieved.
Many algorithms and approaches have been proposed for indoor RF-based localization; however, low cost and accurate indoor localization is still very challenging. Many research and commercial solutions claim very high accuracies, which can, however, only be achieved in a very specific setting under ideal conditions. Adbanticsys Research Department is working on the development of cost-effective indoor localization solutions in real-life environments such as warehouses or underground mining sites. | The Internet of Things (IoT) brings countless disruptive opportunities to the Enterprise. Any company can exploit IoT capabilities to optimize the use of resources, business processes, product quality. Moreover, Enterprises can then create innovative business models and competitive ‘pay per use’ or hybrid models for their industrial products, and additional services developed using ‘things information’. By creating its own Internet of Things Enterprises can get full and continuous information from devices, machines and systems, enable control and interactions, and use these features in new or existing business applications. This is why in Alleantia they talk about the Internet Of Own Things (IOOT), that every company must implement for supporting its specific business. | With the increasing and explosive growth of interconnected devices, Device Management is no longer a requirement exclusive to Telecom Equipment Manufacturers. Devices from the core of the network all the way down to Customer Premise Equipment (CPE), IoT sensors, and everything in between inclusive of Routers, Switches, and Gateways, etc. must be manageable.
Though their deep relationships with important third parties, Enea is working to ensure that organizations creating network infrastructure equipment have pre-integrated support for solutions that save time, development cost, and accelerate time to market. | Internet of Things (IoT) and Machine to Machine (M2M) focus on transforming bits of data collected at the edge of a pervasive distributed system into actionable information and knowledge for business decision makers and end users. These transformations are driving the biggest change in industry since the steam engine! One of the most important aspects of IoT vision is that smart objects communicate effectively with each other and with applications residing in data centers or the cloud. Eurotech develops and offers the technical building blocks required to build distributed systems of devices and sensors to be effectively interconnected with IT infrastructures. Eurotech solutions are a combination of hardware, Firmware, operating systems, programming frameworks and external infrastructure that enable customers focus on their core activities. | | Cognex machine vision and barcode reading tools enable companies around the world to improve assembly verification, eliminate defects, automate production and identify challenging barcodes reliably across a wide range of industries and applications. | zenon® is COPA-DATA’s industrial automation software for ergonomic and highly dynamic process solutions.
