DESCRIPTION

The first company to develop Virtual Mobile Infrastructure (VMI) for enterprise mobility, Nubo Software has created one, secured remote virtual workspace that is tailor-made for today’s mobile workforce. With Nubo, corporations own their data and applications, and employees own their devices. Founded in 2011 by Israel Lifshitz, founder of SysAid Technologies, Nubo’s innovative approach to mobile security stores zero data on personal devices while providing users with a native app experience and the freedom to choose their own applications.

Virtual Mobile Infrastructure: Virtual Mobile Infrastructure (VMI) is a mobile-centric technology that runs mobile apps on a mobile operating system (OS)/virtual machine that is located on a remote server. This essentially creates a virtual device running in the data center that can be accessed by a thin client app on mobile Endpoints. VMI extends the same principles that allowed Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) to run desktop applications on desktops and mobile devices – only this time mobile apps are accessed remotely from mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets, phablets and Wearables.

Mobility as a Service: Mobility as a Service has become a reality, as more organizations rely on service providers to manage their mobility, that is now a core requirement. In addition, Service providers are in need, now more than ever, of offering mobile apps or entire mobile solutions, as part of their main service proposition With Nubo, mobility is offered as a full SaaS solution.
