Team Shalaka provides embedded solutions, enterprise software, and IoT training. They work on Internet of Things (IoT) and Connected Devices based on state of the art microcontrollers and communication interfaces like GSM, Ethernet, WiFi, Zigbee, USB, and RFID/NFC. They are experienced in product development from prototyping to manufacturing and also have their own range of products. Year Founded: 2004

Optimal Design is an award-winning, vertically integrated product development firm that leverages its in-house industrial design, engineering, and software teams to deliver innovative wireless solutions to its clients. Design and integration of wireless technologies such as WiFi, Bluetooth, Bluetooth Low Energy, Cellular, GPS, and NFC into connected devices has been a core competency for the past 15 years.

Codian Robotics supplies high speed pick & place robots that do not run on a dedicated robot control system. The servo motors are mounted on the robot's frame and all other moving parts have a lightweight construction. This allows the robot to be dynamic and fast. Codian robots use the control system of the customer, eliminating the need for a duplicate control system. Through this unique feature, we meet the needs of a growing demand from the market, to have one integral control system in the packing line. In turn, purchase price, maintenance costs and physical space are saved. Codian robots are specifically suited for the packaging industry as well as for the food and pharmaceutical industry. The Codian robots have existed since 2002 and were built by a manufacturer of robot lines. There are over 1000 robots world-wide in use. On June 1, 2011, Codian Robotics was established as an independent company.
iWave Systems Technologies, an ISO 9001:2015 certified company, established in the year 1999, focuses on standard and customised System on Module/SBC product development in Industrial, Medical, Automotive & Embedded Computing application domains. iWave Systems also provides comprehensive Engineering design services involving Embedded Hardware, FPGA and Software development. iWave’s Hardware expertise spans complex board design up to 30 layers; Analog , Digital & RF Designs; FPGA Development up to 3+ million gates and VHDL / Verilog RTL Development & Verification. Pioneers of Internet of Things applied to water management. WaterWorX is the foundational platform, a library of standard water things, pump stations, flowmeters, reservoirs, DMAs etc, all provided on open standards and SaaS model. AquamatiX develops a set of standard apps which bring together system and asset performance benchmarking with energy efficiency, via a semantic Interoperability model referred to as SWIM. AquamatiX also provides strategic consultancy in Smart Water technology and markets. AquamatiX recently set up a new division - Whitespace Water which is developing a new ultra-low power, long-range wireless sensor technology.
Eclipse IoT is an ecosystem of companies and individuals that are working together to establish an Internet of Things based on open technologies. Eclipse IoT provides the technology needed to build IoT Devices, Gateways, and Cloud Platforms. The Eclipse IoT Working Group is an industry collaboration of companies who invest and promote an Open Source community for IoT.
IndigoVerge provides Internet of Things IoT consulting and software solutions allowing customers to increase efficiencies and unleash their full business potential. We leverage the latest IoT technologies to provide you with the biggest possible competitive advantage.
IoT Solutions

Shalaka has developed a number of broadly applicable IoT products. The ReMo (remote monitoring) is a real-time monitoring device which gives you hands on control of data such as temperature, humidity, power loss, etc. They also produce an RFID/NFC solution to help companies manage their inventory and assets with an RFID-based Asset/Inventory management system. Shalaka specialises in developing customised IoT products for industrial applications as well as commercial utilities. This enables companies to improve the capabilities of legacy systems without replacing equipment that is outdated but operational.

Open source components for IoT Devices • Eclipse Edje provides an high-level API for accessing hardware features provided by microcontrollers (e.g GPIO, ADC, MEMS, etc.). It can directly connect to native libraries, drivers, and board support packages provided by silicon vendors. • Eclipse Paho provides an implementation of the MQTT protocol. • Eclipse Wakaama provides an implementation of the OMA LWM2M standard. Integrated IoT Gateway and Smart Devices stacks • Eclipse Kura provides a general purpose middleware and application Container for IoT gateway services. • Eclipse SmartHome provides an IoT gateway platform that is specifically focused on the home automation domain. • Eclipse 4diac provides an industrial-grade Open Source infrastructure for distributed industrial process measurement and control systems based on the IEC 61499 standard. 4DIAC is ideally suited for Industrie 4.0 and Industrial IoT applications in a manufacturing setting. The IEC 61499 standard defines a domain specific modeling language for developing distributed industrial control solutions by providing a vendor independent format and for simplifying support for Controller to Controller communication. IoT Cloud Platform Stack The IoT Cloud Platform represents the software infrastructure and services required to enable an IoT solution. An IoT Cloud Platform typically operates on a cloud infrastructure (e.g. OpenShift, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Cloud Foundry) or inside an enterprise data center and is expected to scale both horizontally, to support the large number of devices connected, as well as vertically to address the variety of IoT solutions. The IoT Cloud Platform will facilitate the Interoperability of the IoT solution with existing enterprise applications and other IoT solutions. Cloud stacks Eclipse Kapua is a modular platform providing the services required to manage IoT gateways and smart edge devices. Kapua provides a core integration framework and an initial set of core IoT services including a device registry, device management services, messaging services, data management, and Application Enablement. The goal of Eclipse Kapua is to create a growing ecosystem of micro services through the extensions provided by other Eclipse IoT projects and organizations. Eclipse OM2M is an IoT Platform specific for the telecommunication industry, based on the oneM2M specification. It provides a horizontal Common Service Entity (CSE) that can be deployed in an M2M server, a gateway, or a device. Each CSE provides Application Enablement, Security, Triggering, Notification, Persistency, Device Interworking, Device Management.
